Meet Therapist Gabi Baylor
I am a dedicated associate psychotherapist who supports teens, adults, and families. I create a safe place to discuss your concerns and challenges at home, work, or school. I can help you be seen and heard as you try to communicate and set boundaries. I understand that thoughts and feelings can be painful if you do not trust yourself or others.
Through a person-centered approach, my goal is to help identify individual needs, and support your growth in building self-esteem to restore balance, and inspire independence and hope. I believe everyone possesses unique strengths and abilities that can provide a foundation to healing and achieve goals. Our work can help build new habits to create lasting positive change in your life.
My Experience
I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), the only professional counselors educated and trained specifically to serve individuals with disabilities. Having developed a severe chronic pain condition at a young age, I adjusted my lifestyle to foster independence and success. My hope is to provide a compassionate environment for one to explore their situation and identify needs to inspire positive lifestyle changes.
Overall my work has centered on supporting monolingual Spanish speaking parents/ youth, multicultural families, youth and adults in the legal justice system, and individuals with at risk mental health symptoms. I am deeply humbled and value connecting with such diverse populations. I believe each client is unique and offers an individual lived experience, background and culture.
